Darkryte is of the Mythical tier in The Forge with a very low drop chance, making it one of the most sought-after ores. It has a unique passive and a great value – but it’s tied to some of the most dangerous areas in the game right now. You cannot reach it early, and you cannot farm it safely. Darkryte is designed for players who are already in the endgame and can survive constant combat pressure. Here’s how you can obtain it.

How to Get Darkryte in The Forge (Ore Location)

You need to be in the Forgotten Kingdom (World 2), get to the Ruined Caves and find Volcanic rocks to mine in order to get Darkryte. It has a chance of 1/6,655 making it extremely tough to get, but some luck boosts will help. The multiplier is 6.3x and its price is 94.5 Gold. Its trait is that it provides a 15% chance to negate damage (doesn’t work with status effects), similar to the Shadow race’s passive.

It is the third rarest ore in the game at the time of writing – the others are Arcane ore (1/100k chance) and Galaxite (1/1M) chance. Remember that you need a pickaxe of at least 78 mine power to be able to break Volcanic rocks, so a Mythril Pickaxe, Lightite Pickaxe, Magma Pickaxe, Arcane Pickaxe and Demonic Pickaxe will be useful.

How to Find Volcanic Rocks

Head to the Ruined Cave in Forgotten Kingdom and turn toward the Ashen Passage. Find the Basalt Veins and break them to gain access to the Volcanic region. This is where you will find higher-tier enemies (such as the Elite Rogue Skeleton) that you can farm for essence, and you can find Volcanic Rocks that can give you Darkryte.
