Where to Get Arcane Crystal (Location)

Arcane Crystal can only be obtained in one location – the Goblin Cave. Yup, this is the only place in the entire game where this ore can drop, and you won’t find it while mining anywhere else (at the time of writing).

Inside Goblin Cave, Arcane Crystal does not appear as a visible standalone node. Instead, it has a small chance to drop when you mine specific crystal-based rocks:

• Crimson Crystal
• Cyan Crystal
• Earth Crystal
• Light Crystal

Each time you break one of these crystal nodes, there is an extremely low chance that it will drop Arcane Crystal instead of the normal resource.

Arcane Crystal has one of the lowest drop chances in the entire game. The estimated drop chance is about 1 in 100,000 per crystal node mined, which means long dry streaks are completely normal. Some players get lucky early, while others mine for weeks without a single drop. Make the most of the luck boosts you have for a better chance.

How to Unlock Goblin Cave

Before you can even attempt to obtain Arcane Crystal, you must first unlock access to Goblin Cave.

Goblin Cave is located within the Forgotten Kingdom and the access is locked behind the Goblin King questline.

The questline requires a large gold payment, and the task of submitting specific ores. Once completed, you receive a permanent key that allows unlimited access to Goblin Cave. After this, you receive a key to open the Goblin Cave where you can find a lot of new things. For instance, Tomo’s lost cat will be right there.

What is Arcane Crystal used for?

Arcane Crystal is used to significantly boost the base power of forged equipment. Because it has such a high multiplier, it is best used when:
