Rivalite is an Epic ore that is not meant to be farmed easily. It exists mainly to slow player progression and prevent people from rushing straight into the strongest weapons and upgrades. Because of this, many players struggle to find it at first and assume it is bugged or extremely rare. In reality, Rivalite only appears when you have reached the correct progression stage.

How to Get Rivalite in The Forge

You must unlock special high-tier zones before Rivalite can spawn at all. More specifically, reach level 10 and complete Sensei Moro’s quests to unlock a portal that provides access to World 2: Forgotten Kingdom. If you are still farming in normal caves, Rivalite will simply not appear, no matter how long you mine. So, your first target would be to get to World 2.

Once there, you need to look for Basalt Vein, and Volcanic Rock because these are the Rock types that drop Rivalite in The Forge. However, the chance is only 1/569 so make sure to use Luck boosts to help during the grind. Buying some gamepasses and Totems may help speed up your initial grind. Keep in mind that enemies in this region are aggressive and will constantly interrupt your mining. Make sure you forge and bring your best equipment.

Rivalite has a unique trait of +20% critical hit chance, a multiplier of 3.3x and a value of 49.95 Gold. Once you obtain it, you can use it in various crafting recipes. For example, you can craft a Straight Swords with 3x Rivalite and 3x Ruby, and a Gauntlet with 2x Rivalite, 3x Magmaite, 3x Fireite, and 1x Eye Ore.
