Indian esports giant S8UL has made history by becoming the first Indian organization to secure four nominations at the prestigious Esports Awards 2025, set to take place in Las Vegas on November 19, 2025. Often described as the “Oscars of gaming,” the awards celebrate excellence across the global esports ecosystem, honoring players, creators, organizations, and innovations that shape the future of gaming.

This year, S8UL has earned nominations across four major categories, marking a significant milestone for India’s esports community:

  • Esports Content Group of the Year – S8UL Esports
  • Having won this category three consecutive times in 2022, 2023, and 2024, S8UL returns as a frontrunner, reinforcing its position as a global content powerhouse and community leader.
  • Esports Personality of the Year – Animesh Agarwal (8Bit Thug)
  • S8UL’s founder Animesh Agarwal has been recognized for his pivotal role in bridging esports, entertainment, and brand partnerships, solidifying his status as one of India’s most influential gaming leaders.
  • Esports Content Creator of the Year – Raj Varma (Snax)
  • Raj Varma, a former esports athlete turned creator, has earned acclaim for his engaging storytelling and skill-based content. With over 2.15 million YouTube subscribers and 1.1 million Instagram followers, he continues to inspire the next generation of gamers.
  • Streamer of the Year – Payal Dhare (PayalGaming)
  • Payal Dhare, one of India’s most prominent female gaming personalities, has been recognized for her trailblazing content and role in inspiring women to pursue professional gaming. She remains the only Indian female gamer to have won an international award.

This recognition comes on the heels of a landmark year for S8UL, which represented India at the Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh and became the first and only Indian organization selected for the prestigious Club Partner Program by the Esports World Cup Foundation. Last year, Naman Mathur (Mortal) also made history by winning Esports Content Creator of the Year, a first for an Indian creator on a global stage.

As the world gears up for the Esports Awards 2025, all eyes are now on S8UL and its creators to once again make India proud on the global esports stage.
